Membership Rules

There are three levels of membership Gold, Silver and Casual.

The idea of the club is that anyone can become a member, however, in practice this does have safety implications, so a minimum standard is suggested.

Children wishing to join the club should have passed at least Skate UK Level 6 or Penguin Level 9 in order to skate during club sessions.

Skaters achieving Level 2 Free and/or Elements, and equivalent in Dance or deemed too old to skate on Junior Club may skate on Senior Club.

For those members under the age of 18, membership will be granted to a named parent or guardian. Members under the age of 18 at the AGM will not be able to vote, their vote will pass to a parent or guardian.

Club membership fees are to be paid directly to Telford Ice Rink (full details from reception)
Only bone fide and paid up members of the club will be entitled to join in the activities and ice time of the club.
Guests will be permitted to skate at a club “taster” session on one occasion. Any further sessions after that must be as a paid up member.

New Members

The club has had an influx of new members recently and on behalf of everyone at TISC, welcome to you all.

Club sessions may get a little busier than usual and as such extra vigilance is needed when doing difficult maneuvers. Please be aware of other skaters around you and be careful whenever on or off ice.

Many parents are leaving their child unattended at the Club and we would ask you to leave a telephone number with a committee member in case of an emergency.

Neither bullying nor swearing will be tolerated at the rink and those found doing so will be asked to leave.Club information boards can be found in the foyer and also on the rink side at club times.

Please check these regularly to keep up to date with latest information.
